It was a pleasure being a part of the Change11 MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) facilitated by Stephen Downes, George Siemens, and Dave Cormier. I co-presented with Jillianne Code on the 21st Century University. We focused on “multi-access” learning environments which is a concept I came up with in 2009 and have been making slow but steady progress toward since then. At the University of Victoria, we are currently doing our first multi-access pilot course with an instructor and look forward to expanding it across campus.
Below I’m sharing our session abstract, then the embedded YouTube videos, followed by all the variety of collaborate, youtube, and chat log links and resources that I put here on the Change11 wiki site. Thank you to Jeff Lebow for capturing the sessions and posting to YouTube so viewers can choose between the Collaborate recordings and the YouTube recordings. I would be happy to discuss our ideas more with anyone who is interested to hear. Feel free to grab me via any of the ways I have posted on my contacts page.
